Teachers Information

Jim Sheffield taught automotive engineering at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE where he conducted classes  in motor mechanics to adult, prevocational, trade, advanced trade and secondary school students.

In 1990 the course,  Motor Mowers Notes,  was introduced to students at the Kirra Special School as a confidence motivator.

This set of notes has been written so other teachers of students with special needs can gain a meaningful education.

The course also complimented the outboard maintenance course run at Benowa State High School
